Seems forever ago we wrote this, starting with just the premise of a female film director and a Special Forces guy. Don’t Look Down is on sale today as Amazon says at 92% off. Since St Martins controls the pricing it actually is discounted pretty steeply and it’s never been in Kindle Unlimited.
So grab it while you can.
I’ve gotten a bunch of inquiries about prepping and survival gear. I’m posting the gear I have, one day at a time on my business Facebook page, twitter and bsky, but if you want to see the master list, it’s on my web site. I think two key pieces of equipment to invest in are a basic Grab-n-Go bag and a water filter, even just this bottle with built in filter. Yes, the equipment in a prepackaged bag isn’t top of the line, but I found that most of it was stuff I’d bought individually on my own. I bought it for my son to have in case of emergency.
On another front, our new rescue, Max is doing well. He and Maggie chew on each other, playfully. He’s going on his eighth month so still some things to get right, but overall he’s been wonderful.
