Because of the idiosyncrasies of Amazon, the trade paperback and the hardcover of Lavender’s Blue are now available for purchase.
Delivery varies with some people telling me they’re getting their copies tomorrow, which means they’ll have them before me.
We’re not thrilled about the cost but Lavender is a long book — coming in close to 120,000 words, which is about 25% longer than average. The next two books in the series, Rest in Pink and One in Vermilion, are a smidge under 100k. And read faster as we hit our pace. We’re so excited about the people of Burney, Ohio, featured in the book, that we are already talking about more stories featuring our eclectic case of characters.
Meanwhile, we’re wrapping up Rocky Start, which we think might be the name of the new series, with each book having a different title. It’s in the vein of RED (Retired Extremely Dangerous) which starred Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren. Except set in the Smoky Mountains. We’re swinging wider with this series, more like Agnes and the Hitman.
Nothing but good times ahead!!
