The third book in the Liz Danger series, One in Vermillion, is out today. So far, reader response to the series has far exceeded our expectations. Authors rarely know how a book will be received and we tend to be worst-case thinkers. Jennifer and I were concerned about how the series would be received, especially given that we spent a year getting rejections from NY Publishers on the books and being given various reasons why. We did get an offer, but the first book wouldn’t have come out until fall 2024 so we politely said, no, thank you. Now, all three have been published in three months.

In the end, it has worked out great. And we’re finishing up the first book in the next series, Rocky Start, and the pre-order for that is now live!

Nothing but good times ahead! Of course, there are other books discounted and free as I do with every newsletter. Shane and the Hitwoman is only .99 or Kindle Unlimited today. For the first time ever, Area 51: Invasion is free, today only. Even if you haven’t read any other Area 51 books, you can dive into this one. Which is about, you guessed it, an alien invasion of Earth with Cthulhu, Kraken, Dragons, Naga and more — there is a reason these creatures are in collective nightmares.

Given all the turmoil as far as climate, I have The Green Beret Area Study Workbook free/kindle unlimited today and tomorrow. It’s a great way to work through studying where you live for potential threats (not just weather) and assets. Don’t get taken by surprise. It helps you look at the world around you in a different way and then you can prepare properly. Seriously, a little preparation can save your life.

Nothing but good times ahead!
