Cold weather is what started it. That’s the first thing to be prepared for.

The cold weather has caused power outages, just when people need it the most.

The cold weather combined with lack of power is causing numerous pipes to burst, which leads to water usage being three times normal which is depleting the amount of treated water. Thus, many Texans will suffer from a lack of drinkable water.

We will all suffer bouts of unusually cold and hot weather as weather patterns change. We need to be prepared for them.

We all know we will lose power. Are you ready for a power outage?

80% of all natural disasters are accompanied by flooding which leads to a lack of potable water. If you notice, often the first thing brought in after a disaster is bottled water, so we need to be prepared for that.

There are two avenues in preparing for and dealing with power outages. One is the outage itself. How to prepare, what to do during. The other is considering alternative power sources such as solar. The real key to those is the batteries. I cover both these issues in free slideshows on my free slideshow web page. I just moved all four to the center top of the survival slideshows. They are all HERE.

Millions of people are in dire situations right now and it’s terrible but the reality is, we have to take preparation seriously and do the work. Now. Because once it happens, it’s too late.
