This trope has grown old. None of those things was invented for the sole purpose of killing. Firearms were invented to kill-whether in war or for hunting.

What number of firearm deaths are acceptable to you based on this argument? Are you out there working to reduce those other types of deaths? Or are you sitting, holding your gun, and afraid someone might regulate it?

People don’t want to “grab your gun. They want reasonable regulation. You civilians do not need military designed weapon. Please do not lecture me on what is and what isn’t an “assault rifle”. I know about them.

Please try to conjure up a little more empathy and a little less fear.
