Where did these numbers come from? I think your data on eBooks, like that of the publishing industry, is flawed. No one counts indies, except the platform and Amazon isn’t sharing the data. And no one counts KU pages read as books.

I’ve been hearing eBooks have plateued or are dropping for years. I don’t believe it at all. It’s wishful thinking on traditional publishing’s part. Because the majority of ebook readers are prolific readers who flock to Kindle Unlimited and lower indie, ebook prices.

Digital and audio are on the rise. And you ignored the biggest looming factor for print: will Barnes and Noble survive?
